What were you involved with on campus as a student?

I was heavily involved in the theatre program at Marist, serving on the leadership board for bet亚洲365欢迎投注 Club of Theatre Arts (MCCTA) and being involved in almost every production in some way during my four years! I was also an Ambassador and tour guide for the 入学 办公室, and a member of Singers, 乐队, PRSSA, 舞, and the 荣誉项目. I studied abroad in London for a semester and completed 2 internships, one of which I did while studying in London!

Favorite spot on campus:

临江地区. 在大学, my friends and I would spend any day that was remotely nice down on the docks or sitting on a blanket on the grass overlooking the Hudson. Now that I work here, I take any chance I can to sneak down to the docks and enjoy a moment of peace by the water on a sunny day!

Favorite Marist tradition:

Riverfest! 作为大四学生, there’s nothing better than celebrating down by the river with all your classmates and the faculty and staff that have helped you along the way; now, as a staff member, I love that I get to be a part of that celebration.

Favorite Marist memory:

所有的?

Best advice for the college search:

Don’t worry if you don’t have “the feeling” right away – it took my 3 visits to Marist and talking to countess current students and staff to finally realize I had found my fit. Really think about the things you can’t live without in your home for the next four years, and don’t settle without them.

Why did you choose Marist?

Ultimately it came down to the fact that Marist gave endless access to opportunity – it was the only place where I could stay involved in the things that were important to me, all while exploring new interests, 的职业道路, 这个世界. And I felt welcomed, at home, and among friends each time I visited.

What makes Marist special to you?

The family I’ve gained from being a part of this community. I am still friends with people I met week one of my first-year year, and there are so many amazing people I’ve met along the way that have shaped me into the person I am today. I can confidently say I would not be the person I am today without the Red Fox 家庭!
